We have upgraded an multi-language portal to DNN 9.1. Now module settings can't be opened in languages like chinese, japanese or korean. Other languages like german, english, french, italian do work fine.

The system tells "too many redirects".

We have also setup a blank DNN 9.1 installation with 3 languages (german, english and chinese) - same behavior.

I think the problem might be links/URL's like: /zh-cn/产品列表/xl2-声级计

Any idea out there?

there are known issues with localized page names in DNN 9.1, which are currently not solved.
You may either postpone the upgrade, use a different URL Provider (which are currrently not officially supported) or manually edit page URLs in the database.

Hi Sebastian,

we are not talking about pages - we are talking about modules. Those titles can't be edited, no module settings for CN, JP, KO languages at all can be configured, because of an redirect error...

And we already tested at DNN 9.1.1 - same behavior/error.

We do not need any other URL Provider (even those are not officially supported).

Any other idea or can you pass this error to the DNN dev team?

Best Regards,
Clemens
