I am using DNN 8 and I am constantly getting a "Cache Item Overflow" type of log error. These occur about every 3 hours. When they occur they occure constantly for several minutes. Below is an example;

Log Type: Cache Item Overflow
Explanation: FolderPathPermissions/0/documents/Filename: Overflow-Item not cached

Anyone able to help me resolve this issue.

I believe I have caching setup correctly on the site. In DNN under Servers - Server Settings - Performance I have
Page State Persistance: Page
Caching Provider: WebREquestCachingProvider
Module Cache Provider: Memory
Page Output Cache Provider: memory
Cache Setting: HeavyCaching
Authenticated and Unauthenticated Cachability both set to ServerandNoCache

In IIS I have gone into the site's Output Caching and under edit feature selected both Enable Cache and Enable Kernel Cache.

Anything missing?

Which precise DNN version are you running. If you are on DNN 8, you should make sure to be running 8.0.4
Are you using a 3rd party caching provider?

Strange thing, didn't think I had run the version 9 update yet as I am still testing the latest release on my test server. So should have been on version 8.5, however when I look on the web server it says the version is Evoq Content Basis Version 9.0.2

I am not using a third party caching provider.

If you are using Evoq 9.0.2, I strongly suggest upgrading to 9.1.1 due to fixed bugs.
