Hi,
I'm trying to give auth to registered users and in some cases, specific users to a page.
The user should be allowed to add pages and modules.
The former I have configured. And I can also limit specific module accessabiity on the page as well.
What I can't set up is allowing a user to add a new module. The page only allows for adding existing modules.
Is there a way to allow for this?

Also, in the 'Add Page' box, it seems a registered or specific user can access all pages on the site under the 'Parent Page' drop down and therefore put the new page anywhere as a child.
Is there a way to limit this to pages only in a specific directory?

Bob,
which version of DNN are you using?
There are significant differences, depending on the version you are running on your site.

Hi Sebastian,

Ya, that would have helped, eh?

I'm running v. 09.01.01 (129)

(2 posts and I missed it on both. There I go again assuming people can read my mind)

in page settings, did you grant edit permission for the page to the users?
this should permit editing the page, add modules and create child pages-

I have a user that I have granted edit permissions to. When logged in the user is able to enter edit mode but in the bottom right where there are normally three icons, Add new module, Add existing module and Page settings, there are only the latter two.

Also, this user currently can add pages but I want to be able to restrict where they can add pages.
