I thought friendly urls were on as default in DNN 8 + ??

I have a DNN9 site that is still showing http://mydomain.com/NewsandBlog/tabid/36/Default.aspx etc in the URL.  I am still trying to get to terms with the DNN9 interface and where to find settings,  so can anyone tell me "how to" , where the setting is, or what else I need to do to turn on friendly urls

FYI, it is still a setting in web config. I thought it was turned on by default but it needs the DNNFriendly setting manually set to advanced

Please note: upgraded sites will not automatically use Advanced URLs, due to possible SEO issues.
