There is an option to add available upload file extensions through:

Security > More > MORE SECURITY SETTINGS

However even though the svg file type is already there, I am not able to upload that type of file through the module editor.

If I go to
Edit Module > Custom Editor Options

There is nowhere there an option to add or change available upload file types

And when I try to upload svg file through editor it says File type not allowed and it says "The Allowed Filetypes are: "bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, png" at the bottom of popup. So even though in the security setting svg file type is already added you're not able to upload or even add the file type through the settings??????

Surely you should be able upload these file types using editor and not File Manager (or File Assets)??? Am I missing something??? Is there a way of adding the file extension????

Any help would be really appreciated :) Thank you so much :)
