Security hotfix "not in use" in available extensions

Hi,

I have installed the new Security hotfix 1.0.1.
Everything went fine.
However, when I browse the list with available extensions, then the module is not in use.
I have tried to place this module on a empty page and there is after placing nothing to see.

How to handle further?

HI, I have this exact same problem lemon as well. Installed the hotfix module but wasn't able to place it on a page.

What shall we do?

As near as I can tell all it does is replace two dll's in the root bin folder and update the web.config file in the portal root (so it really doesn't install like a module / extension). I have applied the patch on 3 DNN installations (all 7.4.2) and the sites are working as expected. I do have an issue with a fourth installation that is directly related to the replaced files, and I have sent a tech support question directly to DNN. Hopefully they will respond in a timely fashion.

Thanks for your responses. Maybe just installing it as an extension is sufficient, without actually placing the module on a page.

I hope this is the case. Would like to get a conformation on that.
