Is it possible to revert or reset the original template to its original format or state? Thanks.

Not clear what you mean. Did you edit a Page Theme, a Layout, or a Container from a "standard/purchased" skin/theme and now want to restore it to it's 'virginal' state?

Typically (at least for me!), my first step is to make a copy of one of the directories at:
%DNNRootDir%\Portals\_default\Skins\ to another folder with a similar name. That's all that is required to 'duplicate' a skin to go all Frankenstein on it. Basically I try not to mess with the 'original' skin so I can always revert.

If you did something different, fine, maybe try reinstalling the theme on top of what is there now? Or unzipping a fresh copy of the DNN Install version and unzip it, and move the original skin form the directory noted above to replace what you did.

Or are you looking at a different issue?
