We are just getting started with DNN. Our website requires a different logo on certain pages within our site. However, we understand DNN only accommodates one logo under Site Settings.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to display different logos on certain website pages in DNN? Step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated, as we are DNN novices.

For reference, we are running DNN Platform v. 09.01.00 (367).

There are a variety of choices here:
- create a more sophisticated logo object than the standard supplied one
- change the skin to not use the standard logo object and use standard CSS techniques to display the logo. This requires some kind of back channel to recognize which page needs what logo
- create a module to display the logos and use that instead of the skin object

None of these are easy for novices and well beyond step by step instructions. If you want to email me privately (richard at dynamisys.co.uk) I may be able to help you further.

Best wishes,

I think there is an easier solution.
Any page has a large page icon you can set (in the page settings).
(I hope that's still available in DNN9, did not test.)
It's possible to render that in the skin.
With a condition you can show the site logo unless you set a page large icon for the page.
Add this to your skin (ascx):
<img src='<%=IIF(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.IconFileLarge > "", PortalSettings.ActiveTab.IconFileLarge, PortalSettings.HomeDirectory & PortalSettings.LogoFile)%>' />
