Hello,

I may just be missing this, but it looks like I can't change the parent page in a page's settings... is that right?

I get that you're supposed to use the page manager... but here's the problem: I've enabled translation and, when I have a spanish page who's parent is an english page (which easily happens as you translate pages one at a time), then I can't ever correct it using the page manager. The problem with the page manager is that, if I'm in "english" mode, then I can't see the spanish child page to move it. If I'm in "spanish" mode, then I can't see the parent page in english, so I can't navigate to the child page. 

Does that make any sense? This has actually turned into a big problem for us and I suspect it's a problem for others. Anybody have any ideas?

If its an upgrade from 8.0 ditch the Persona Bar and switch control panels. The older control panels bring up the legacy page settings page.

I guess I'm curious if this is a bug though? Am I missing something? It seems like it's impossible to localize an existing site in DNN 9 because of this issue. Is that right? If so, I'd submit it...

They broke a lot of things in 9.x.

I really wish the DNN folks would put some continued focus on control panel usability. They have overhauled it at least 4 times since I've been using DNN and it has never really been a polished product. The last interaction (CONTROLBAR) was really close. The only things that sucked were module insertion and mobile usability.

They have a good idea with the lightweight persona bar but the execution isn't right yet (Missing features and clunky interface). It's really more of an unofficial beta test at this point that they launched as a finished product.

With the older control panel, 9.02 is working ok for me other than the broken disable page functionality.

I'm not doing localisation so not sure about that piece. Good Luck!
