(1) In regards to DNN 9+, how can admin users save a new page or existing page as a draft without publishing it?

(2) Also is there a way to view all existing draft pages that are not published in DNN 9?  If not, is there a module that already completes this objective?

Thanks

WordPress allows this don't they?

How about just not including it in the menu, which is an option under Page Settings.

Another approach is to change permissions so that only "editors" or "Administrators" can see the page until it is ready to "go live".

Yes WordPress allows it. We may want to show customers an existing page while an updated draft is being prepared to replace the content of that page.   But your 2 ideas give me a starting point for some situations.

Have you ever worked in any process with DNN that allowed an administrator to push development pages to a production environment easily?  Is this practice encouraged, or even established for administrators to do easily?

Thanks

I find that the easiest way to do this is to use permissions to hide pages that are under development from regular users. You could use this along with special page names (dev-MyPage) to identify pages in development.

To move a page to production, change the name and change the permissions.

To take a page out of production, change permissions and changed the name (old-MyPage).

If you want to move a page from a development install of DNN, use the Page Export/Page Import feature.

Team,

Thank you so much for these creative processes.  I believe these solutions will help me for now.  I really like the ability to export/import a page.  Last question relating to that...can we set  permissions in DNN on who is able to export/import?

Thanks
