I have a bootstrap based skin with an annoying issue and I noticed that another skin in the DNN Store suffers from the same problem.

When not in EDIT mode, the skin displays properly, but when in EDIT mode, the containing DIVs take up a huge amount of vertical space above and below the module.  It doesn't seem to matter what other module is inssertd in the skin or  which version of DNN is in use.  The  DNN Store skin is the Kheya DNN Theme.

Has anyone else encountered and solved this? Or have any ideas as to why it is happening?

Yes, I discovered that too. I ended up adding a new .css file at the end that overrode the other settings. This is the added setting that succeeded:
.dnnModuleManager.dnnSortable {
min-height: 0 !important;
}

Also, it seems that any local css, such as style="..." included in the page.ascx file now gets stripped out, so all css must be in a .css file.
