Hi

Has anybody got this going? I was looking at the language files & it shows a token of [Custom:1]

I cant seem to get it for [User:VerificationCode] going.

Thanks in advance

Todd

some templates are using DNN TokenReplace engine the substitute placeholders like [User:...], while others just use a few custom strings (e.g. [Custom:0] .. [Custom:5]).
This depends on the choice of the developer. If you need a specific placeholder for a specific resource key, please enter an enhancement request into the public issue tracker at support.dnnsoftware.com.

Thanks Sebastian,

what is the token for the verification code?

When I used [VerificationCode] the URL had a format of ********** Its been a while but i seem to recall that past URLs actually had the code but that irrelevant.

when i clicked on the link i get error message Service is not available.

Thanks

Todd

Ive just tested with the standard dnn registration form in DNN9 & it works perfect. There is in fact a code at the end of the URL in the email.

So it seems to a non developer like me that some sort of other action or something is now happening (in DNN9) to get the verification code which then inserts it into the token [Custom:1]

When I put the token at the end of the URL, it doesn't work.

I guess the question becomes, Sebastian, what does one need to put at the front of the [Custom:1] token to get the verification code for DNN9?

In previous versions the answer would have been [User:VerificationCode]

In DNN 9 it seems to be [???:Custom:1] (ive tried User & this didn't work

Thanks in advance

Todd
