Hi,

Wondering if anyone having issues setting up email (Office 365) in DNN9?
Im pretty sure I have all settings right (done it a few times now). Getting error message The server response was: 5.7.62 SMTP; Client does not have permissions to send on behalf of the from address

You are sending email with a 'from' address that is different then the email address you login at O365 and that will never work. Choose option 3 from https://support.office.com/en-us/arti...

Where do I change the email address in DNN9?

I have created a web admin user with the same email address. Ive also changed the Administrator to be this user in Settings.

Turns out I get error message when I click Test SMTP Settings BUT I get emails when users are deleted or when a 3rd party module needs to perform an email function.

So its like it is working but not for the test smtp settings procedure
