Hello,

I've a client asking for an estimate, that estimate will change based on the DNN version. The client don't have for now admin credentials.

It's possible to me check wich DNN version the site is running?

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards

Jose,

not by design, I think. What you could do is to add a meta tag in the site settings, e.g.

<meta name="DNN Version" content="09.00.00">

But you have to keep this up to date when you do an upgrade on the site.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

You cannot get the version number by browsing the site for security reasons - otherwise hackers might check for sites running a specific version with known vulnerabilities.
You either need host access - version is listed in Host Settings - or file access - search for highest version number in name of files in folder /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider - or database access - SELECT * FROM dbo.version -
