My server has started running with 100% of its resources used 24 hours a day. One of the issues is the event viewer growing to big. I need to setup a schedule to auto delete the event viewer on a schedule. However, there is no option in my Host-> Scheduler. I read a thread that suggested this..

"Also make sure the 'DotNetNuke.Services.Log.SiteLog.PurgeSiteLog, DOTNETNUKE' scheduled event (Host|Schedule) is configured to run.? :

This is not an option in my host-scheduler.  I am running most of my sites on DNN8 (most on DNN 8.00.04 but some have earlier version of DNN8 and a few are still on DNN7)

Also, how can I do this in the new DNN 9 Please?

To add to my original post, I see the option to "Add Event to Scheduler" however, I have no idea how to setup this in the screen. Please view a screenshot of the options to setup a new schedule option at http://www.onewavefiles.com/add-item-...

Does anyone know how I can add "DotNetNuke.Services.Log.SiteLog.PurgeSiteLog" as a new scheduler option in DNN7 and/or DNN8 please?

sitelog is not the same as eventlog, SiteLog feature was removed from DNN 8.
