Google recaptcha and how to use with DNN

Hi

We have a DNN 7 website and i would like to make use of the google recaptcha on our website (basically replace the current DNN captcha) - basically we added the captcha to avoid bots to register on our websites but have notice the current captcha is "difficult" for some users to use.

Is there a way i can do this or a module to allow this?

Kindly advise if this is something that is possible

Jason, usually Captcha or ReCaptcha is going to be integrated with the module that uses it. For example, I use those on a number of my sites in contact forms. ReCaptcha definitely improves user experience. It's probably a matter of upgrading to the latest version of the module that uses it, then configuring the settings. You may want to check with the module developer first or look at the feature list for each version to see if ReCaptcha is a part of the upgrade.

there are 3rd party modules for user registration, which support re-captcha as well. have a look at the DNN store (store.dnnsoftware.com).

PS: in many cases, it helps to prevent bots, if you add a boolean profile field "I accept the terms of the site" and make it required for registration
