Hi,

I have created a copy of the DNN 6.2 website on a new server. After that I couldn't access any of the settings areas (i.e. page settings, site settings, host settings) at each attempt the following error apear in browser:

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 193.254.230.54.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.

If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Has anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

Did you setup any funky portal aliases or anything? Is that IP address to your server?

Helen,

I tried, and I don't have problems to connect to that site (IE, FF, Chrome) - "Bine aţi venit pe Portalul Universităţii TRANSILVANIA din Braşov!"

If you still have this problem, it is propably something in your browser cache.

Happy DNNing!
Michael
