Due to a components that we use while developing a dotnetnuke module, we have to use newtonsoft.json version 9.0.0.0.  If we copy this version to the bin folder, our module and other everthing are working except "add module", "add existing module" and "create module"on admin bars is not working. Maybe more functionalities are affected. Is there any idea about how we can handle these issue?

Best wishes

Two things to look into. One, updating the web.config to

      <dependentAssembly>

        <assemblyIdentity name="Newtonsoft.Json" publicKeyToken="30ad4fe6b2a6aeed" culture="neutral" />

        <bindingRedirect oldVersion="0.0.0.0-9.0.0.0" newVersion="9.0.0.0" />

      </dependentAssembly>

The other option is you can put DLLs into subdirectories in the BIN folder and reference them specifically. I don't have an example offhand of how that works though.
