Just upgraded my site to DNN 9 and for my GREAT surprise, the roles system is totally nonfunctional now. It seem to be impossible to set an expiry date for the role now? Is there a possibility to set a default length (in days ) for a role somewhere? That would help a lot.
The other thing I noticed, that if a user clicks a role in the user settings the system opens PayPal immediately. Where are the payment settings now?

Otherwise the Persona bar looks promising.

make sure, "isSystemRole" is set to 1 for administrators and registered Users roles.

Thanks for reply, but how does this setting affect the expiry date? And where to apply it if needed?  ;)

you might need to modify it directly in the database, table "Roles"
