I have added an ASP.NET 4 website to our server running IIS8. The DNN version is 4.x.

No matter how I try to configure the site, I keep getting the following error:

Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.HttpModules' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

The new site is not located under the DNN site, but rather at the same level in IIS under Default Web Site and has no reference to it. I am using a separate application pool.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing you have a problem with your IIS bindings.

You might double check that they got set up properly.
