DCC feature had been cancelled completely, Evoq products now use an online service for forms.

Hi Steve,

I was also frustrated that DCC was dropped... But, I have moved a few projects to use 2sxc and been very happy with it... The team is crazy fast with updates and new releases, so problems get fixed quickly. The project has also stabilized tremendously in the past 6 months and I run into far fewer bugs or issues than I did a while back. Daniel, who posts in the community blog here very often, is also very energetic and helpful in providing guidance on using the tools well.

You can do an incredible array of things with it and we now use it to power a variety of major functions on sites. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you wrap your head around it a bit, it makes a lot of sense.

I'd really recommend trying it out. Once I did, not only did it change how I've approached some critical DNN tasks, but it's also fully replaced older tools like Form and List, DDR Menu (for in page menus), Blog, and a ton of other basic CRUD tools.

Mike

Thank you both for the quick information. I am also disappointed DCC is dropped. Was this announced somewhere? Will they attempt it again later or abandon for good? :(

AFAIR, DCC was announced at DNN 8 launch to be postponed, however, DNN Corp decided to take a different route for their commercial clients and stopped development of this feature.
