Within the last 30 days; my production site was completely down due to this weather module. Both time; I removed the module and all started to work fine.

Are there any better modules for Weather so I can dump this problematic DNNSmart module?

It should be possible with Open Content (http://www.openextensions.net/).

Happy DNNing!

Do they have a weather module for DotNetNuke 6.2?

Yahoo Weather, and lots of others, have "widgets" that you can embed in your site.  I think that Michael was suggesting that you use Open Content, a module for building structured content into your site, to host the widget that you choose to use.  You can also use the HTML module for things like this, but a module like Open Content (or 2sxc) may make the process a bit more bullet proof.

Your options for DNN 6.2.2 might be a bit limited, so it might make sense to try this with the HTML module.  Basically, you just paste the widget code into the HTML module contents -- in the HTML view, and go from there.  You may need to configure the Editor Provider so that it won't strip out scripts.
