Sorry, I don't know about your host. The dropdown shows 4.0 integrated, this is correct, but you should ask your host, which exact version they are running (DNN 8 requires .Net 4.5.1 or later as stated). If there is an issue accessing files, this might be caused by not unblocking the upgrade package (in file properties) prior to unzipping the files contained.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Continuiing this discussion-  I was able to figure out the  500 server error - taking the web offline for 10 days - still do not have a Login.aspx  module to Log-in to the website as host admin.  The db on sql server 2012 has the correct info - so I'm thinking a file ( or routine) that was there was removed inadvertently in the failed upgrade attempt. So question is what file or files would one need to transfer (FTP) from the upgrade file  version of 7.4.2 to override the existing files  currently not having the login control module - so as to make the current version work  so that Sebastians turbo scripts can be run and the site updated. ??

Is this in the Deafult.aspx file or elsewhere?
