I checked the "hide login controls" checkbox and now it looks like only DNN standard authentication is visible, and not Windows. In a bit of a bind. Can't log on ... can't register. How, in the database, can I toggle that checkbox back to blank? What table?

Thanks -

Look in the PortalSettings table. You're looking for AD_HideWindowsLogin. If you clear your cookies and cache it should also automatically log you in.

Thanks, Mike. I saw it was set to "True" and updated it to "False"

But the behavior hasn't changed. I logged on with an entirely different browser, recycled the IIS 7.5 App Pool ... still hasn't reverted. Does checking that also make a change to the web.config?

I got back in. Somehow the enabled setting had gotten unchecked. I found a way to recover a pwd for a superuser that was a native dnn user. Had to add that user to userportals table first. But I'm in and able to work with the settings again. Thanks.

One minor .. but real .. annoyance ... when you enter password, the instinct is to hit the enter key for keyboard users. It just reloads the page. Hitting Tab and Enter works, or clicking on the button with mouse. Is that fixable? Got a lot of grumps from users about that, and a need to write instructions about it, etc.
