Hi all, I am new to the DNN world (but have lots of experience with .NET, Asp.NET - especially MVC).

I have a need to modify DNN to do some custom work against a custom LDAP implementation (i.e. not ActiveDirectory).

I've gone through the exercise of getting a trial version of DNN 7.0 pro running and connecting to our local ActiveDirectory using LDAP configuration and proven to myself that this works fine.

So my next question is where do I go from here? I see that you cannot get access to source code with the professional version (it comes with the Enterprise version). Are there extensibility hooks built-into the framework that would allow me to get LDAP data and modify DNN authentication and authorization?

Also, more generally, what would you recommend as good tutorials for ramping-up on DNN 7 (i.e. latest 7.0.6) dev?

Thanks!

john
