If you ask me, the core team should update the documentation to include SQL Server 2012

Ah, yes.  I guess that it's a priority in different people's minds, but I do agree that it can be difficult with a project going on that's this big.

where does it need updated - if it's the wiki then anyone can update that. If it's elsewhere please let us know and I'll ensure it gets updated

i should note that it's generally low priority as Microsoft do a good job of retaining backwards compatibility so typically you only need note the minimum sql version and all future releases will work as expected.
