Hi,

I developed a custom authentication module in DNN (5.5.1).
After testing it, I disabled the default DNN authentication provider in admin > extensions > default dnn authentication settings
This worked fine for some time...

Suddenly the default DNN authentication provider is enabled again, I see both the default login and my custom login in the login sceen
(So I'm sure my custom login is not throwing an exception)

when checkin admin > extensions > default dnn authentication settings I noticed the enable checkbox is checked...
I unchecked the enable checkbox and hit save.
The DNN_Enabled portalsetting (which seems to control default dnn login availability) is FALSE at all times when I check it directy in database
When loading admin > extensions > default dnn authentication settings again, the enabled checkbox is checked again
The DNN_Enabled portalsetting is still FALSE in database....
(to be sure it's not caching I also restarted application)

For now I disabled the default DNN authentication on the host level, which "fixes' my problem for now... I do would like to know the reason and fix it properly though...

Am I missing something here?

Thanks!
