G'Day,

I am using the default install of DNN 4.0.3 with Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005.

The home page is set to fixed width (I beleive 800 pixels).  My log image is 774 pixels and looks fine.

However when I add an image module to the top panel, then add an image (also 774 pixels wide) the width expands way beyond the 800 pixels as if there were many spaces added after the image.

I have been reading through the forums for hours now and I can't determine what I am doing wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am still trying to find a solution to this problem.  I find that any container in the top or bottom panel that will take an image presents the same problem.  So, a html container with the same pic as my logo will make the width go to over 1000 pixels even though with the same image (in the logo position) everything is fine.

This is very frustrating and I am sure that it must be something simple as DNN would be useless to all if it was a bug, so any ideas guys/gals?

AussieIan.

I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you point us to a page where this is happening?

I have this problem also, but I find it only happens in IE.  Firefox works just fine.
