Hi...After digging around a bit and working on creating a dnn module, i surmised that there would be some nice sample code for the use of the url control (portal:url in the .ascx file). Specifically, i was wondering how the output of the control such as "FileId=34" could be translated back into a usable URL. Obviously the image module does this in order to display the image.

So i then downloaded the Image_3.1_Source zip and unpacked it. I was very surprised not to see any .vb code files in this package. Am i missing something? The only difference that i see between Image_3.1_Source and Image_3.1_Install is the occurrence of a DNN_Image.resources file (in the source). Is this something I have to go to the CVS (or SVN?) server directly?

Thanks,
EE

the .resources file is actually the source code zipped up. This allows us to maintain the folder structure, and the .resources extension stops people downloading the source from your site (important for 3rd party developers). When you install the module, it'll automatically uncompress the resource folder for you into desktopmodules. Alternatively, you can rename it to .zip and uncompress it yourself.
