I just downloaded and installed Beta 2 of the Events Module 5.0.3.  First let me say "kudos"!  The past few versions have been a tremendous improvement over the older incarnations.  Keep up the good work guys!  Now for my question.

Is there a way to limit the the number of characters of the description that are displayed in the event "pop-up"?  I have a very lengthy description for an event which causes the display to not be visible on the screen (check out http://cacld.isilm.com/Programs.aspx and hover over the event "" on 10/31).  I would like to just display the initial part of it.  I have played around with the various "Event Tooltip Templates" but nothing I have tried has worked.

If this is not currently possible, can you incorporate this somehow?  I would not be opposed to seperate text boxes for "summary text" and "full text"  (although others mignt not find this optimal).

Hi Chuck,

I've been looking to see if you can specifiy a maximum string length into the DNN Token Replace, and unfortunately I don't think you can, so we would need to add this functionality. Could you riase this as a request on Gemini, and we'll see if we can get it added.
