I don't recommend editing the default.css file because it gets overwritten with DNN Upgrades.

Instead, add the .dnnForm override to your skin.css or Portal.css

Sounds reasonable... how do I do that?  What's the ".dnnForm override" to fix this?

 adding this code to ../Portals/_default/Skins/SKINNAME/Stylesheets/skin.css file doesn't seem to do anything:

.dnnForm.FeedbackForm { min-width: inherit; }
.dnnForm.FeedbackComments {min-width: inherit; }

It's like the new Feedback 6.4.3 module totally ignores it..

..any other ideas?

Try min-width: 0
