I have issues from moving a 6.2.7 DNN site from PowerDNN to my local server network. The Prolem is this... after downloading the site source and recent dababase backup to my local envirnment, setting up the site and database, I can access the web site but when I log in as admin or host and go into edit content for any of the pages, I get 404 errors... cannot access source. or the text box editor does not display.
Details as follows: PowerDNN server and site setup
PowerDNN site is installed on Windows server 2003, ASP.NET 4.0, Using RadEditor and IFinity Friendly URL, and most likely SQL server 2005. I believe both the IIS web server and SQL server are on the same machine.
My Environment include two virtual servers with the web server on Windows server 2008r2, IIS 7.5, ASP.NET 4.0 and the second virtual server is Windows 2008r2 with SQL server 2008r2 and the restored database.
The web.config file was configured to the new connections and access between the database and web site is successful testing on the local network using the local web server IP address bindings.
When logging into the admin or host access, and selecting a page to modify through the site edit content, an HTTP error 404.0 - Not Found, The resource you are looking for has been moved, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. occurs. The second option is that when I do access the edit content, the editor html box does not display.
I have several portal alias' in use and focusing on the testing portal alias.
