Secure, feature rich DotNetNuke platform provides scalable foundation for high volume, consumer friendly Website

San Mateo, Calif. – August 1, 2011 – DotNetNuke Corp. today announced that eCredable, an innovative online credit reporting company dedicated to helping consumers who need the ability to prove their creditworthiness, has chosen the DotNetNuke Web Content Management (WCM) platform to build and deploy their business website. DotNetNuke was chosen over other WCM offerings based on the robust feature set, scalability, security and extensibility of the platform.

For $9.95 per month, the eCredable site provides the ability to verify the bill payments which do not appear on a traditional credit report, include a credit rating, and empower the consumer with a new way to demonstrate their creditworthiness. Launched in 2009, the company is building an ecosystem of auto lenders, mortgage companies and other financial services organizations that will accept eCredable reports as valid proof of credit. The eCredable site has multiple content contributors that use the DotNetNuke platform to easily update the site on a daily basis. The site is hosted in the Amazon cloud offering, simplifying on-going maintenance and scalability.

“Our website is our business and for that reason we chose DotNetNuke,” stated Steve Ely, CEO for eCredable. “We needed a flexible, extensible and stable content management system and web application framework on which to base our whole company. DotNetNuke delivers all those capabilities, along with the security that our customers demand and deserve.“

“We are aiming to grow our business quickly to one million members,” continued Mr. Ely. “The DotNetNuke platform, along with our cloud delivery solution, ensures that we can scale fast without worrying about the underlying technology.”

The eCredable website was designed and built in 9 months using custom modules and add-on components found in the DotNetNuke Store (, which contains 10,000 modules, skins, controls and apps that speed up the design and delivery of custom websites.

“The large community of DotNetNuke developers, partners and vendors in the store was also a key factor in our decision,” said Terron Lindholme, co-founder and CTO for eCredable. “We knew that by choosing DotNetNuke, there would be an extensive ecosystem of modules, components and people to choose from that would help us get our site built quickly. Our confidence levels were high in the project from the start.”

DotNetNuke is the number one content management system and Web application framework in the Microsoft ASP.NET world that powers over 700,000 websites worldwide. The recently announced DotNetNuke 6 release makes it even faster and easier for developers to build and deploy robust, flexible, secure websites that are simple to update for content owners.

“Businesses everywhere are under extreme pressure to move faster, with greater agility,” stated Mitch Bishop, CMO for DotNetNuke Corp. “Like the thousands of other customers that use the DotNetNuke platform, eCredable has leveraged our platform to build their business quickly and given them the confidence that their choice in Website infrastructure will scale with them.”

About eCredable
eCredable is an alternative credit service that helps consumers demonstrate their creditworthiness to prospective creditors. Launched in 2009, eCredable allows creditors to comply with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), which requires any creditor using credit related information to assess the creditworthiness of an individual to consider any similar payment information the consumer puts forth to demonstrate their creditworthiness. Our patent-pending credit information gathering service allows consumers to record their monthly bill payment accounts, request verification of their payment history, and create a verified AMP Credit Report™ that meets all financial industry standards. The consumer can then share their AMP Credit Report™ and AMP Credit Rating™ with any potential creditor, service provider or employer. eCredable uses a unique AMP Credit Rating ™ that shows the consumer, and the potential creditor, where the consumer’s credit rating stands on a clear, straightforward scale of A to F. Our AMP Credit Rating™ provides a powerful tool to assist the consumer in understanding the importance of making payments on time. AMP stands for All My Payments.
