DotNetNuke Corp. Appoints Bob Kruger as Senior Vice President of Engineering

San Mateo, Calif. – August 2, 2011 – DotNetNuke Corp., the company behind the most widely adopted Web Content Management Platform for Microsoft .NET, today announced that Bob Kruger has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Mr. Kruger will be responsible for leading DotNetNuke’s worldwide engineering organization.

A seasoned engineering executive with more than 34 years of computing industry experience, Mr. Kruger joins DotNetNuke after a successful tenure at data management start-up SmApper Technologies. Mr. Kruger’s background covers a diverse range of technologies, from distributed computing, to systems management, to archiving and data protection, networking, security, and virtualization.

After an almost 11-year stint at Microsoft Corp., Mr. Kruger held executive-level engineering and technology roles at Mimosa Systems, Mendocino Software, Citrix Systems and BMC Software. In these roles, Mr. Kruger drove the creation of highly effective multi-geographic engineering and research, in addition to the creation of new, diverse and valuable product lines.
