Hi,

I wanted to call a javascript function from codebehind. Following is what I did. I have a javascript function defined in view like below.

<script type="text/javascript">

    function alertMe() {

        Hello');

    }

</script>

Then I wrote following inside a method in codebehind.

Page.ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(), "alert", "alertMe();", true);

Unfortunately 'alertMe' function is not getting  called. Could you please help me to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there.

It seems to me that you need to get more control over what code gets called and when it gets called and all.

In short, it seems like you need more control over the Event LifeCycle of the code.

One way to get more control over the Event LifeCycle is to build a custom Module.

I have describe one decent way to create a Custom Module in my post here...

HTH.

Thanks.
