A buddy of mine asked me for help getting DNN for one of his clients. I have backup from the customer's old hosting account. I copied the files over, made sure the database connecting strings are correct and I get this error

Inheritance security rules violated while overriding member: 'DotNetNuke.Web.Mvc.Framework.ModuleDelegatingViewEngine.FindPartialView(System.Web.Mvc.ControllerContext, System.String, Boolean)'. Security accessibility of the overriding method must match the security accessibility of the method being overriden.

I saw the previous post about this happening on hostgator and someone to have the host check for updates to asp.net BUT godaddy refused to do it because it's a shared hosting account.

The asp.net version is the latest and on the godaddy server and on my dev server at home. It works on my server, but not on godaddy. Is this a godaddy issue? I've tried changing the trust level and it still doesn't help. Should I tell my buddy to get hosting somewhere else?  Is there a switch I can flip? I've been dealing with this for 4 days. For the time being I used httrack to copy the html version of the  dnn site and threw that on the server so the site is live but they eventually want to be able to use the CMS capabilities.

help?

You really don't want to use GoDaddy's hosting.....

I second that although I have no idea what the issue is with the error, haven't seen it before. Hosting is essential and good hosting is priceless. It's half of the job if you think about it.
