Hi,

We have our intranet site with AD Login and it works fine, the site is quick once the user is logged on and has loaded their first page.

Unfortunately it seems to be very slow to do this and most users only want to access a single page and are complaining it is slow.

I have been looking at the calls when the user first loads the home page after their last session has ran out and it makes 3 calls to the WindowsSignin.aspx page, the first two get a 401 error, and take 188ms to load, the third call to the page is the one that succeeds but it takes 5649ms to load.

Is this down to our AD being slow to respond or is it the AD module or some setting I can tweak ?

I would appreciate some help with this please.

Many thanks.
Jacqui.

Did anyone ever figure this out??

I don't know what's going on underneath, but it takes about a 1m 6s to work.

Older (DNN 5.4.4) Intranet Site on a 2003 (IIS6) server talking to a 2012 AD server. Module at 5.0.3

I posted a fresh thread here about my specific details..
