I've resorted to DnnFilePicker for allowing user/admins to upload files for my module. However, it lacks some of  the functionality I need. I was hoping to get rid of the dropdown, but I can't seem to do that. Though I may use it for my solution to my other problem.

The other problem is I wanted to keep track of what the users uploaded to that particular module and list them in the settings. So, my module on one page will list different uploaded files on one page than my module on another page. Problem is keeping track of what was uploaded. If there's some sort of onevent I'm missing that's fired when the user attempts to upload I can use that. Alternatively I can let the user select an item that's upload from the dropdownlist and then let them choose to have that item be associated with that particular version of the module.

Suggestions and feedback are appreciated.

you may want to check out Repository module (dnnrepository.codeplex.com) for dedicated upload sections or swfupload from www.oliverhine.com using a dedicated upload directory and some other module to display all files in a folder.

I mostly just need to know how to get access to uploaded files in dnn:UrlControl.

Or rather the currently selected File within the UrlControl.
