I have just restored my website at network solutions, http://0354f32.netsolhost.com/vwc/ and am receiving the following error only on those pages where i have a Repository module loaded:

A critical error has occurred.
Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

I have contacted Network Solutions and they have responded that this program/script is not compiled for Medium Trust.

I am running DNN Version 5.6.2 and Repository 3.5.4.  Note that the module operates perfectly on its production location at http://vwc.net .

What are my options at this time?

Regards
Hans

I traced the condition to entries in the ModuleSettings table for the folderlocation, pendinglocation and anonymouslocation settings.

The values in these parameters referenced a complete pathname referenced on the server.

As the database had been moved from one ISP to another, these locations were not correct.  The net result was that software reported a security violation, which in fact is a not-found condition,.

I corrected the locations directly on the database and this cleared up the issue.

Hans

great you were able to sort it out - I would have assumed missing file permissions.

Cheers from Germany,
