halo guys,

i have a query.. I need to create 3 categories ( Product, Work, Company) in FAQ Module.

Now i need to have dropdown with Text "Select a Category" and on selecting a category , only FAQs relevant to that
category must get displayed below..

How to accomplish this task with the FAQ Module..

Kindly help me in this regard. All replies are appreciated.

you will need to extend the module, this is not built in. Since FAQ is a WAP module, you will need to use Visual Studio 2003 SP1 or 2008 (Standard/Professional/Team Edition)

Hi Sebastian Leupold,

Thanks for ur time...

The problem i face in extending the Core FAQ Module is " I dont find the Code beside file of the User Controls in the /Desktop Module/FAQs Folder".

If this is the case, how to change the logic that adapts to my requirement...

Kindly guide me in this regard.. Also any links to tutorial of " Extending the Existing DotNetNuke Modules" would be helpful

you need to download and install source version of the FAQ module, which will come with a sln file and can easily be opened by Visual Studio.
