Hello Tom, I am still testing some features of Power DNN just to be sure that I can do a correct review. In general, when you arrive with a new hosting provider, everything is fine. And then, after few days/weeks/months, everything goes worst. In my case, one of my website is very very long to load, what can be done ??? Can you have a look ? DV FX

Hi Declic,
If you're having performance problems with your website and it is hosted with PowerDNN, just open up a support ticket and our team will be able to assist you.  The most common reasons for performance problems are:
1)  Rogue scheduled tasks
2)  Rogue HTTPHandlers / HTTPModules
3)  Rogue modules
4)  Excessive Logs
5)  Large, un-shrunk image files

You should consider checking these items first before contacting support just to make sure that it isn't something you can take care of yourself.

My company has used crystaltech, 3Essentials and I just tried signing up with powerdnn.
As with all comments, this is anecdotal but I would say

[a] crystaltech is relibale but is slow. The technical support plummetted when newtek took over
[b] 3E ticket responsiveness is outstanding but everything possible has gone wrong - hardware failure, systems failure, incompetent switchover to new server, very temperamental mail servers
[c] PowerDNN were unable to competently create a new account without error so I cancelled immediately.

Anyone considering WebHost4Life needs to RUN, and FAST! They have been unable to get my site back up after 5 days. All they need to do is restore the DB. Something happened and now I'm pointing to a DB that almost a year old. Every time I contact support, they tell me it takes time. They are unable to communicate anything that is going on. Terrible Service. Brian

Hate to pile on with the complaints but I am very unhappy with WH4L. I am in the process of moving all my sites at the moment because of the so called 'transition' to the new platform. I had just upgraded a site for a client that would allow them to batch upload payroll documents etc. for each of their 200+ employees and they would only be viewable by each individual when they logged in. I made several other changes to the site as well taking full advantage of DNN's user accounts and security roles features to make the experience of the end uses (employees) very personal and secure. I hired a certified database programmer and module development company to create the module at considerable expense. On the day the upgrades were to be launched I went to the companies offices to walk the staff through the first batch upload and to do any necessary training. The employees had already been notified in their last pay envelope that the company was moving away from paper and that from this point on they would only have access to payroll information via the company website. I had spent hours fully testing the upgrade and it was working perfect, I did not anticipate even a small glitch. Wow...was I wrong. Even though I was anticipating the 'migration' of this site to the new platform I had specifically asked WH4L to warn me in advance of the date this would occur. Needless to say the timing was as bad as it could get and they decided with out telling me to do it the same day I was presenting the new site upgrades to this company. The site went down for 6 days, on the 7th day I moved the site to PowerDNN and it was up and running in a couple of hours. I lost the contract for this client but with some begging and re-reimbursement of fees to them I was able to get it back after explaining the problems with WH4L. They didn't really care because my guarantee to them was to have the site up and running 99% of the time as WH4L promised. This fiasco cost me a lot of money and time. Hours and hours with support that only answer with scripted messages so I finally just gave up and moved. Finally....I choose WH4L because it was recommended by DotNetNuke with advertising etc.. Has this company done anything to warn any potential new victims not to use WH4L? It would be a prudent thing to do. You just need to Google this issue to find literally thousands of complaints.
