I'll play with this for a while.  If I get it working, I'll be happy to show it off.  If not, I'll be back with more questions.

Peter,

That's very good news to hear.  I get lots of email from folks wanting to know when DNN will have improved syndication features.  Since, I've been using the FeedBrowser, I'm telling them, DNN has support for it now, though it's not widely known.  I blogged about it here, http://wizzodawg.blogspot.com/2007/09/feedbrowser-hidden-news-agregattor.html, so folks can begin using it now, and I really look forward to seeing these features incorporated in a new improved NewsFeed (RSS) module.

I've been busy with developing an OPML editor that outputs a DNN FeedBrowser compatible OPML file, but suspect that Nik, you, and others are travelling down that road as well.  As I said, thanks for the update, and you might consider offering some insight to the project on the project blog for it.  I know folks would appreciate the info and time.

Thanks again.

Cheers

I really should blog about what has been going on but as most DNNers I'm up to my eyeballs in release schedules and other DNN work. In short I'm working with Nik Kalyani and Joe Brinkman to further this. The Nexs module would implement the OMPL editor. So if you've already worked on this I'd love to hear your ideas. I'm on the lookout for resources for this module ... so if you have some time to spare ... Please drop me an email on peter.donker at dotnetnuke dot com.

Some things look like they're opening up in an iFrame?

Where can I find this?  I'd like to have a look at the stylesheet for it, too, if possible.

OK, I have a simple one at the site I'm building here.

One thing I've discovered is that the amount of text you can enter in the Custom Text box is quite limited.  If you put in too much then it just truncates it and defaults to the Solutions explorer view.

I haven't been able to figure out the addressing for the Custom OPML URL/File.  I created a folder named blogroll and saved it to my root.  I then addressed as http://quiblit.com/blogroll/hostedblogs.opml, but it didn't work.  Any guidance on that?

New items in the feed seem to be coming in at the bottom rather than the top of the feed.  How can I reverse this?

Title links work fine, but links with in the body have myurl% added on the front and won't work.  Can I fix this?

Also, no pictures - possibly an addressing problem/trouble finding the url similar to the above?

It's a really nice feature but, if these things can't be made to work, then probably not ready for prime time.
