for some reason, after I add a bunch of photos to a gallery the formatting, css, template stuff disappears.

here is the gallery 'homepage' which looks 'normal'

http://www.eghs1987.org/Photos/tabid/65/Default.aspx

when you click the thumbnail to see the details of the gallery, the page looks strange

http://www.eghs1987.org/Photos/tabid/65/path/Old+Photos/Default.aspx

any ideas?

Are you running this on a XP workstation (non server product?).  XP Workstation has a limit (Microsoft thought it was best to limit you) in that only so many requests can come in at a time.   If you try going back and forward in your browser a lot of time you will be able to refresh the cache and get the screen right.  Also, there is a bug in the 3.x beta version of the gallery which writes the CSS data incorrectly which causes the browser to not display things correctly sometimes.
