in the case of the template above, it is using FIrstName and LastName properties from user profile tab, not user tab (where username and email are entered).

Thanks for the help Sebastian but I give up. I have no idea what you are talking about. I am not a DNN developer so I don't know what values are coming from this tab or that tab. All I know is the FirstName and LatName are no longer populated wherever...... The emails I receive when users are "Unregister" are useless because they contain NO information.

try using [user:FirstName] and [User:LastName] instead of [Profile:FirstName] and [Profile:LastName] in your email template

No go, Sebastian. Made the changes you suggested, re-started the application, I even waited till the following morning so I could do it during off peak time. I still got the email without a firstname or lastname from the unregister email.
