Unfortunatelly i see very poor activity for Active Forums for DNN6. The beta at Codeplex included.

Maybe people should switch to YAF module, i dunno. I'm deeply disappointed by the whole "forum" thing.

After multiple Active Forum purchases, and then rumors of it being included with DNN for quite awhile, I am also a bit disappointed. I feel somewhat strung along. That being said, it does look like work was done in April and the source code for Active Forum is up on codeplex.  So at least it's progress.

Has anybody considered making a bridge module from DNN to a popular PHP forum like MyBB so that DNN users can use a PHP forum portal with the same login information? I would think that would be WILDLY popular as a module, and very lucrative. Really shouldn't all all that difficult to make either.....

I'm too poor for anything other than the community version

IMHO the whole "forums" concept has been somehow neglected in favor of the Social crap.  Social crap come and go, but forums have been there for 20+ years (from BBS era).
