Each user may specify his "Preferred Language" in his user profile using a predefined property "Preferred Locale", which provides a dropdown list of all installed and enabled locales for this web site.
Anonymous users get presented content in portal default language, or - if browser detection is enabled and a preferred browser language is enabled for the web site - this preferred language is chosen.

Besides, each user may specify his "Preferred TimeZone" in his user profile, where a dropdown list containing all installed Windows time zones is provided (DNN6), which contains all necessary support for Daylight Savings Time (DST), identified by a timezone id. In DNN 3 to DNN 5, a manually created list was provided, which did not include DST support.

Within the address, there are profile properties for Unit, Street, Region and Country. Country may be selected from a dropdown list (not localisable atm), which derives its value from a System List, maintained in Host Menu > List Item. If the list item for a country contains a sub list of regions, Region will be turned into a dropdownlist as well. Depending on the DNN version used, country value may be adjusted according to the IP range, the client computer is associated with during registration.
