In my module I'm using DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail method, the problem is that when I recover the SMTPPassword with PortalSettings.HostSettings("SMTPPassword") it give me the hashed password and I'm no able to send the email.

How I can recover the clean SMTP host password?

Thanks

you should not need to retrieve settings, there are overloads of DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail which use DNN settings implicetly.

Thank you Sebastian,

But Mail.SendMail and Mail.SendEmail both use host's SMTP settings.

How to send email with the current portal's (site) SMTP settings?

Mail.SendMail works just fine except of PortalController.Instance.GetPortalSettings(PortalId)("SMTPPassword") if the password is hashed (default).
