the feature has been ripped off the DNN framework (maybe to promote Evoq over DNN Platform).
One workaround would be using the WeWeave module unlicensed, which provides the original feature (and is granted to be used for it according to the blog post from the owners, as mentioned by Michael above).

Ive just noticed a google analytics module that can be added to a page. Is it just a point of manually adding to each page?

Doesn't look like that did it, just displays the module to all users
