This may be a silly question but does anybody know why on some sites with more that one portal I cannot disable the registration?

This one gets me in trouble with the boss and I can't figure out why the registration will not stay at the selected none under site settings.

Thanks

Pete

What happens, if you set "registration mode" in Admin > Site Settings to "none"?
Which DNN version are you running?

This is happening in version 7.4 and 8.04 When I set it to none and clear the cache or refresh the page the selection changes back to private.
