It is normal for the "app_data / search" folder occupies 98% of the space allotted to a website?

The folder is filled with a size of 1.1GB approx. and when I reset the search index is soon back to that size.

It is a web with a slight content, although there are many text articles but nothing extortionate, the total size of the web is 1.4GB.

Any idea to slve this problem?

from my experience, this is not typical.
DNN is using Lucene.net, AFAIK there are Tools to investigate the Content of the search index.

I upgraded to the latest version DNN but the size of the index is still extortionate ... I will find the tool that mentions to "investigate" a little, thanks for your attention!

please let me know, if you Need further assistance.
I haven't seen this on any of our Clients' sites nor was it reported here - there might be a module with an issue in inplementing iSearchable Interface.
